Meghan Markle and the top 11 films you didn’t know she’s been in | Films | Entertainment

Long before Meghan Markle met Prince Harry and became the Duchess of Montecito, she was a moderately successful actress.

The 43-year-old is perhaps best known for her role in the hit TV series, Suits, where she played the part of Rachel Zane on Suits from 2011 to 2018.

Meghan, who now stars in her own TV show on Netflix called With Love, Meghan, stepped down from acting when she became engaged to Prince Harry.

However, the mother-of-two made several appearances, both big and small, in a number of movies. Here, we list the 11 movies that Meghan Markle appeared in.

Horrible Bosses

In 2011 this film was one of the biggest comedies of the year, and it boasted a stellar cast with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, and Jason Sudeikis all starring.

Meghan was also in this flick, albeit for a tiny cameo.

She played the part of a beautiful FedEx employee named Jamie, who drops off a package to Kurt Buckman, played hilariously by Jason Sudeikis, who then tries and fails to flirt with her.

Random Encounters

This was a slightly meatier role for Meghan, which saw her play a supporting role in this light romantic-comedy.

Random Encounters stars Michael Rady and Abby Wathem who take on the parts of Kevin, a screenwriter, and Laura, a struggling actress. The star-crossed lovers meet in a coffee shop and despite some adversity they fall in love.

When Sparks Fly

In this movie Meghan landed a leading part as young journalist Amy Peterson.

IMDB summarise this movie writing: “A big-city journalist is sent back to her small hometown to write a Fourth of July story–and to discover that the life and love she left behind are exactly what she’s been missing.”

Needless to say this film is not worth watching, unless you’re a fan of poorly scripted and cliche Hallmark Channel original movies.

Dater’s Handbook

Yet another Hallmark Channel original movie that is actually marginally better than When Sparks Fly.

This time The Duchess stars as Cassandra, who is extremely unlucky in love and just can’t seem to meet the right guy.

So she uses a dating book to change her personality and find a husband, but – spoiler alert – she eventually realises a good man who loves her for who she is already, is what she really wants.

Anti-Social

In Anti-Social Meghan gets to flex her serious acting skills in this 2015 Hungarian-British crime thriller.

This was the last movie she appeared in before falling for Prince Harry, and in it Meghan plays a model named Kirsten.

There’s nothing really remarkable about the film or even of note except for the fact UK rapper Skepta is also in the film.

A Lot Like Love

While this flick had a decent cast that included Ashton Kutcher, Amanda Peet and Kathryn Hahn, Meghan’s role was insignificant.

She does have a credit in the film, but she’s only listed as playing the role of ‘Hot Girl’.

Meghan appeared in a string of other movies early on in her career where she’s onscreen for mere seconds.

These include Remember Me, with Robert Pattinson, Get Him to the Greek, with Russell Brand, The Candidate, Dysfunctional Friends, and Elephant.
