Deep clean your bathroom with woman’s simple hacks – and it’s quick

Cleaning often gets forgotten about or ignored, but certain rooms often need a deep clean.

Taylor Renee was determined to “be your mama today” and show you exactly how deep cleaning your bathroom can come with no fuss on TikTok if you’ve never been shown how properly.

First, she said: “You always start from top to bottom, so we’re gonna do counters and sink first,” reiterating this is a very “doable deep clean” so you shouldn’t be put off by it.

When cleaning her sink, she used dish soap and Scrub Daddy cleaning paste to make it sparkle and look as good as new – and the paste even gets rid of “hard grime stuck on”. “You may have to give it some elbow grease, but it’ll come off,” she said.

Then, she claimed you should move to the countertops to get them sparkling, with Taylor saying she uses a “multipurpose cleaner” – but said dish soap does make it “feel cleaner” as she can really “scrub”. “You can do the same thing on the windowsill”, she encouraged.

Taylor then moved on to cleaning the mirror, saying it’s important to turn the lights off as it “helps you see streaks” on the glass.

She recommended when cleaning any glass, you don’t “use a cloth”, because it will leave lint behind – instead, you should use “paper towels” or even “newspaper” you may have laying around your home.

Next up is cleaning the bathtub, and she said it’s “very simple”. You need to remove everything that’s being displayed on it, give it a good scrub with dish soap, and said “don’t forget to do up the walls” – but of course this depends on the type of tiles you have.

She then used the cleaning paste to give an extra bit of sparkle “around the drain”. She then cleaned out the rubbish from the bin and replaced the bag in there.

It was then time for Taylor to clean the toilet, sharing she prefers to use disinfectant wipes. She said she really “gets around the toilet” because she lives with two males, saying “you know how that goes”, so she wanted to ensure the toilet was cleaned properly.

She said using shaving cream makes the toilet bowl smell better as well, as it can counteract the smell of urine.

Taylor then gave “a good sweep everywhere” in the bathroom, getting all the bits and bobs up before she went in with a mop. “You can’t mop when there’s still dirt on the floor,” she urged.

She said she uses dish soap and vinegar when she cleans the floor, as vinegar is a great “natural disinfectant”.

“I just like to keep it simple while also being effective,” Taylor claimed. She also recommended putting mop water down the toilet, and not into the tub, saying when she’s finished doing all the jobs throughout the bathroom, she washes her hands and then admires her handiwork.
